Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. (Deuteronomy 8:3).
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight. (Jeremiah 15:16).
[Jesus said to them], “The bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world…I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst…I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (John 6:33, 35, 51, NASB).
Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the righest of fare. (Isaiah 55:1-2).
