What Does the Bible Say About Lying?

You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another. (Leviticus 19:11).

Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight. (Proverbs 12:22).

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who tells lies will perish. (Proverbs 19:9).

A truthful witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies. (Proverbs 14:5, NIV).

The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor, the pursuit of death. (Proverbs 21:6).

For the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. (Revelation 21:8).

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.  Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. (Revelation 22:15).
