He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”  For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper, and from the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.

You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.  A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right had; but it shall not approach you.  You will only look on with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.  For you have made the LORD, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling placeNo evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.

For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.  They will bear you up in their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.  You will tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will trample down.

Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.  He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.  With a long life I will satisfy him, and let him behold My salvation.
Psalm 91

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!  How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!

When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my roaring all day long.  For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.  I acknowledged my sin to Thee, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD“; and Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin.  Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach him.  Thou art my hiding place; Thou dost preserve me from trouble; Thou dost surround me with songs of deliverance.
Psalm 32:1-7

Is anyone among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick (because he is abiding in Jesus, dwelling in the shelter of the Most High and bearing fruit to the Father’s glory), and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.  Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed.  The effective prayer of a righteous man (who makes the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, his dwelling place) can accomplish much.
James 5:14-16

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.  Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit.  You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.  Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they (the powers of darkness) gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish (such as to be healed), and it shall be done for you.  By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.  Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My loveIf you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.
John 15:1-10

And whatever you ask in My name (which those who abide in Him are allowed to do), that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask Me anything in My name (we can only ask in the name of or by the authority of Christ if we are abiding in Christ, cf. Acts 19:13-17), I will do it.  If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
John 14:13-15

By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as he walked.
1 John 2:5-6

And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.  By this (i.e., by abiding in love), love is perfected with us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment (which is today); because just as He is, so also are we in this world.  There is no fear (of judgement) in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
1 John 4:16-18

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us (so that we know we are abiding in Christ), we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight (again, this is what it means to abide in Him).
1 John 3:21-22

And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will (which we know because we are abiding in Him), He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked form Him.
1 John 5:14-15
